Thursday, August 26th, 2010In a couple of days I’ll be heading to Victoria, British Columbia, Canada for a few days. Can’t wait, it’s been a number of years since I was last there. I’m planning on going to Butchart Gardens for the famous firework show and will be staying in a charming B&B called the, Beaconsfield Inn.
Road Trip update…
Saturday, July 10th, 2010I’ve had an absolutely wonderful stay here in Columbia Falls at the Glacier Mountain Lodge, which is right in between Glacier National Park and Flathead Lake. Yesterday I explored the eastern side of Glacier National Park and now think I’ve been to all the entrances except for the one in Canada.
The previous two days I spent in the interior of Glacier NP—today I will work my way up the northwestern side where I will camp this evening. Tomorrow evening I will be lapping in luxury once again as I make my way to Whitefish Lake where I’ll be staying at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake. I understand the Lodge at Whitefish Lake has a wonderful restaurant and some great amenities, so I’m really looking forward to my stay.
By mid-week I will be in the SandPoint, ID area and then I plan on heading up to Banff and Calgary.

Very Cool day in Wickenburg, AZ

Had a very interesting day in Wickenburg today…went to a place called, “Vulture Mine” which is an old gold mine from the mid to late 1800s. A preservation organization is trying to restore the area, but I kind of like it the way it is. Don’t miss the pics and story to come, you’ll be amazed.
Four Days and counting…An update…
Friday, June 4th, 2010Four Days and counting until I hit the road…
I have been doing a lot of prep work these past couple months, e.g. building this website, selling my belongings to support myself until revenues start coming in, moving out of my house (my home for the past eight years), packing up what’s left and putting into storage (boy, it’s amazing what one can accumulate over time), etc.
I’m putting the final wheels in motion to hit the road…my launch date looks to be Tue., June 7th (provided my final details go as planned).
