En route to Puerto Rico

My next road trip requires me to first take to the skies for what will be a nearly 4000 mile flight to the island of Puerto Rico. I’m really excited…I’ve never been to Puerto Rico before and love to explore new places, especially those so rich in history and culture. I’ll be staying in the capital city of San Juan, courtesy of the San Juan Marriott.

I’ll be meeting up with a number of other travel video bloggers (aka Vloggers), most of whom I’ve been following for some time now. It’s going to be fun to finally meet them all in person.  This adventure to San Juan is a press trip–while there we’ll each be producing a video of our trip…integrating the Marriott into our videos.  The last evening of our sojourn, a film festival of sorts will showcase each blogger’s video.  It’s going to be a blast to see how each vlogger conveys their experience on film.  I imagine each video will be entirely different.  I’m going to be up against some very talented folks, so I have to admit there is a level of trepidation…especially with the limited time we have to shoot and edit our videos.  I think I have a really good overall concept/direction, but execution will be the deciding factor between good, great or mediocre. Stay tuned…I can’t wait to share my experience with you all.
