As I was leaving the Desert Thistle Bed & Breakfast (outside Zion National Park) the other day, I realized I was missing something VERY important…my brand new Maui Jim sunglasses. I was really freaking out…not only are they expensive sunglasses, but my baby blues need them to protect from the bright sun.
I began to backtrack in my mind and was pretty sure I knew where I had left them. I was shooting some video the night before and put some of my stuff on a log (my sunglasses included). I had to drive way back into the park and go on a 20 min. hike, but I was able to make it back to the exact spot in which I thought I had left them…sure enough they were sitting right where I had left them. Thank goodness!
