Rainbow over the Superstitions
Sunset concert at the Superstition Mountain Country
Club with a wonderful American opera singer,
dinner and dessert. A rare site as water fills a wash after a recent rain storm Cliff Dwelling that dates back over 700 years.
Same dwelling...location is at the bottom of the Roger's Trough trailhead deep in the Superstition Mountains. The peak of the Superstitions is just over 6100', this area is around 5000 and often gets snow in the winter.
This is me getting some air on Apache Lake. A western diamondback rattlesnake as I was hiking the Lost Goldmine trail.
Massive dust storm... View of Apache Lake from near the Reavis Ranch trailhead.
Dolly Steamboat on Canyon Lake...makes for a great way to see the lake, the wildlife and more.
Goldfield Ghost Town - Authentic looking ghost town with gun fights, train and more. This is at the Superstition Mountain Country Club during the LPGA Safeway International golf event.
Tortilla Flats, just past Canyon Lake...this
old coach stop is a wonderful place to get
a beer or an ice cream cone. A very popular
stop for bikers and the like on the way to the
Apache Trail.
