I’ve had an absolutely wonderful stay here in Columbia Falls at the Glacier Mountain Lodge, which is right in between Glacier National Park and Flathead Lake. Yesterday I explored the eastern side of Glacier National Park and now think I’ve been to all the entrances except for the one in Canada.
The previous two days I spent in the interior of Glacier NP—today I will work my way up the northwestern side where I will camp this evening. Tomorrow evening I will be lapping in luxury once again as I make my way to Whitefish Lake where I’ll be staying at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake. I understand the Lodge at Whitefish Lake has a wonderful restaurant and some great amenities, so I’m really looking forward to my stay.
By mid-week I will be in the SandPoint, ID area and then I plan on heading up to Banff and Calgary.

Was at a wedding on the 10th at the Glacier Mtn Lodge… good thing you didn’t stay there Sat night – no sleep would have been had!
