The view of our snow covered mountains on a crisp sunny day.

  2. It’s a tie between the Historic Fishing Village of Steveston in southwest Richmond and the influence of our 65 per cent Asian-Canadian population, which gives Richmond a must-experience Asian dining scene. We’re famously home to “the best Chinese food outside of China!”

  3. Kathy says:

I love the abundance of Chinese food in Richmond, especially along Alexandra Road.

  4. Carolyn says:

The awesome Asian food, of course!

  5. Laird says:

    1. Award winning & cutting edge public library system
    2. Small town feel, big city facilities
    3. At least 17 Starbucks in town, 7 of them within a 15 minute walk from my front door.

  6. The best part of Richmond is Steveston. The old fishing village lives on in the naunces of the area. Great walking, views, restaurants and history.

Pajo’s on the dock in Steveston!! Nothing better on a sunny summer evening!!!

  8. Mr. B says:

Without a doubt, Steveston – best seafood eateries in the local area of Metro Vancouver, along with the seafront/fishing boat ambience to give you the feel of a very vibrant seaside community.
Couple that with YVR, the Gateway to Canada from Asia and beyond, and a quick step away from leaving our daily chores to ease our minds and bodies elsewhere when the urge pulls us to rest and relax on some distant shore.

  9. Margaret says:

The best thing is Steveston, the walk along the dikes, then sitting outside to some great Fish and Chips on a sunny day.

  10. Allen says:

The hong kong type feel for eating. Everyone loves to eat out with friends as a social event rather than just to be full.

.. and of course the fish and chips in Steveston
