UGOBAGS: Customized Luggage made simple

Have you ever come across a new product and wondered why someone hadn’t thought about it earlier? That happened to me recently when I discovered UGOBAGS, a customized luggage company—as soon as I saw one of their bags, I thought, “now that’s a good idea!”

As a perpetual traveler and marketer, I was particularly interested in UGOBAGS, not only will I be able to immediately spot my bag from the carousel, but it’s a great way to get people introduced to “Mike’s Road Trip.” Think about all the people who are online at an airport waiting for their flights…with my bold and distinct looking carry-on bag, there is a good chance to drive traffic to my site, and, strike up a conversation with future readers/followers of my travel blog. Seems to me that marketers whose companies have teams frequently on the road, may consider equipping their representatives with UGOBAGS for the branding impressions they can garner.

UGOBAGS come in a choice of silver, black or white and are made of a polycarbonate material. Each bag has 360-degree double spinner wheels. Many aspect of the bag can be customized, from the color of the wheels, to the bumpers and handles…and, as you see, a fully customized graphic in the middle of the bag. The fully-lined interior has a number of pockets and zippered areas to efficiently organize your packing. There is even an approved TSA lock to keep your stuff safe and secure. The customized process is pretty simple and completed in just a few easy steps from the UGOBAGS.com website.

Customizing/personalizing of goods seems to be gaining steam…I would love to hear what you think about this idea of customized luggage, please leave a comment below. 1. Mike, Your new bag looks GREAT! It is a wonderful idea. Now I need a “We Said Go Travel” great logo/photo and then I can get a bag! Thanks for the double inspiration. Lisa

    1. Hey Lisa…thanks for stopping by. Yeah, it’s a pretty cool way to promote our blogs when we travel, eh. If you get one, stop by again and share your experience. Cheers!

  2. That is so cool. Like Lisa, I need to come up with an equally cool logo so I can convince my wife that I should by another piece of luggage.
    Thanks for sharing this.

  3. Hey Mike,
Just curious about this piece. You have had it now for about two years. What are your feelings about it after having had for so long.

Or, maybe you don’t have it anymore?

    Thanks.

    1. Hi Arnie…yes, I still have the bag and use it often. I still like the bag and it sure gets noticed when I travel. I don’t take it on every trip, it sort of depends on my needs. It has gotten a bit scuffed up, but still in good shape. I’ve never checked the back, always carried it on. As a carry-on, I wish these hard shell cases had an access point for things needed on the plane, i.e. wallet, iPod, etc. Overall I’m pretty happy with the case. If you have any specific questions, I’m happy to answer. Thanks for stopping by. Mike
