Biking in the snow

Today while in Flagstaff I headed to the Nordic Center where they feature a number of fun winter activities, from cross-country skiing, snow shoeing to fat-tire biking. The snow conditions were fantastic, so with bike in hand I took off on one of the groomed trails. The forest scenery was stunning and the sound of the tires squishing the snow as I road by was the only sound I could hear…well, that and my heavy breathing from the altitude.

While on my ride I saw a number of small cabins and yurts, which I think would kind of fun and cozy to stay in one of these days.
