Clear Sky for Star Trail pics

Here in Hansville there is not much light pollution, so the stars are quite bright on a clear evening.  Last night was one of those wonderfully clear evenings with a late rising moon, so I thought I would try my hand at capturing a star trail image.  If you’re not familiar, capturing a good “star trail” image takes a bit of luck, patience and a good bit of astro-photographic knowledge…none of which I really have.  I thought I’d give it a try nonetheless.  I did come up with one decent pic and will try again tonight if the weather conditions are as optimal as last night.
