Delay at the Border…

Well, after a long delay at the border,  I finally made it to Vancouver, Canada late afternoon yesterday.  I have crossed the Canadian border a number of times in the past few months, which apparently raised some level of suspicion as I was detained for the better part of an hour.  I had absolutely nothing to hide, however when you’re in a situation where someone is questioning your intentions, you can’t help but be a bundle of nerves.  Some of the questions they ask are a bit unnerving because you know that they can see things in their computer than no one else can.  From what I could surmise during the questioning, their biggest concern was if I was working/employed in Canada.

After a rather lengthy interrogation, a background check and an arduous search of my truck (because I have sooo much stuff), they let me go on my way.

More from Vancouver, B.C. soon…
