Excited to be a speaker at the Asia Pacific TBEX in Manila

I have been a professional travel video blogger for nearly five years and have been publishing MikesRoadTrip.com for well over six. During this time I have attended many travel conferences, including the largest travel blogger conference in the world, TBEX, several times. I am so excited to announce that I will be speaking at the 2016 Asia Pacific TBEX in Manila this October.

If you’re not familiar with TBEX, it’s a travel blogger conference with an emphasis on professional growth. In addition to experiencing the destinations in which TBEX is hosted, attendees are able to partake in dozens of breakout sessions where experts on a particular topic will speak, educate and inform. The topic I’ll speak on is “How I make a living as a professional travel video blogger, and how you can too!” Since I’ve attended several past TBEX conferences and have been to many of the breakout sessions, I think I know what works and what doesn’t. I’m hoping my presentation will bestow some knowledge that will truly help attendees foster their passion and dreams of being a full time professional travel video blogger.

Beyond the professional growth component, TBEX is also an outstanding venue for speed networking with destinations, PR firms and brands. It’s also a lot of fun to talk with many fellow travel bloggers whom you follow on social media, but have never met in person. I’ve fostered many wonderful relationships by meeting in person at TBEX conferences. If you’re serious about travel blogging as a profession, TBEX is without question a conference you need to attend.

I will be sharing more about my Asia Pacific TBEX presentation in the coming weeks. In the meantime, if you have any questions at all about TBEX, please post a comment below and I’ll be happy to answer.
