Okay, so I pampered myself…

I decided yesterday that it was time to seek out a place to get my haircut…after perusing the web looking at sites, I decided upon Seaport Salon and Spa in Silverdale, WA.  While I was there, I also decided to splurge and get myself a facial…a number of months on the road can be tough on ones face.  🙂  A special thanks to Kristin (the Esthetician) and Inga (the stylist).

The Seaport Salon takes up residence in a cute ol’ two-story home located in Old Town Silverdale, which is really a neat area with a number of shops, restaurants and a waterfront park. Silverdale is centrally located in Kitsap County and has become a retail mecca with lots of big box stores in the area.

Thirty years ago Silverdale was just a wide spot in the road between Bremerton and Poulsbo. The area was best known for its chicken farms—now it’s home to over 15,000 people and boasts hundreds of stores, a new hospital and plans for the county’s largest hotel.
