Off to Ireland for the first time

Ireland has never been on my bucket list, but now that I have it on the books, I’m getting pretty excited. I’ll be in Ireland for a while, at least a month. My initial reason for visiting the Emerald Isle is to attend a travel conference in Killarney, but after speaking with some travel blogger friends, I’m convinced I need to do some serious road tripping. I will fly into Dublin where I will spend a few days, then, I’ll drive across the country for a Wild Atlantic Way road trip. I will begin in the north and head south to Killarney for the travel conference. After that I will head to Ireland’s Ancient East on a FAM trip organized by Ireland Tourism and the folks at TBEX (the travel conference). Then, I’ll end up back in Dublin. I’m thinking I might fly to Spain for a week, or, stay in Ireland and explore a bit more. Time will tell.
