Taking a rare vacation – This September, A Viking Ocean Cruise
As a professional travel blogger, I rarely get to take a vacation…because, well, I travel for a living. Taking a vacation for me might be akin to a mechanic never having a running vehicle of his own. Or a maid never having a clean house. I know it might sound a bit strange, but when you travel for a living, it doesn’t leave much time to travel for pleasure. It has been at least 3 years since my last vacation. When I’m not traveling, I’m in front of a computer weeks on end creating content from my travels.
The lack of a vacation is about to change. In late September of this year I am heading to Northern Europe with Mihaela Popa of WorldTravelbug.com as we are taking a Viking Ocean Cruises trip. We are both really excited. This will be Mihaela’s very first cruising experience, and only my second.
