Today it’s Stanley Park and the Aquarium

Today was action packed….Miss Rhonda and I went to the Vancouver Aquarium, which is the largest marine science center in all of Canada.  The aquarium has a plethora of indoor and outdoor exhibits…from the dolphin encounter/show, to sea otters, beluga whales, Amazon birds, giant sea turtles to tons of various fish and sea life.

The Vancouver Aquarium is located in the heard of Stanley Park, so after spending a couple hours enjoying the various exhibits, we strapped on our rollerblades and made our way around the entire park along the seawall, which is about 9k and follows the Frasier River.  Full of biking, hiking and walking trails, with gardens, sport venues, museums and so much more, Stanley Park is one of the worlds great parks and is truly an urban oasis.

After a full day in Stanley Park, we went out to dinner at a Canadian staple, EarlsEarls is a wonderful restaurant serving up some of the world’s most popular cuisine and giving it a distinctive spin that make it authentically Earls.
